GenuTrain® A3, AchilloTrain® and AchilloTrain® Pro relaunched in new design, 15.05.2007
Bauerfeind active supports, GenuTrain A3, AchilloTrainand AchilloTrain Pro have been launched with a new design. The already highly regarded features of these products have been improved and visualized.
Action dynamics is a major feature of the new design. For example, the revolutionary Train® knit of the active supports reflect tension by changing color dynamics; the breathability of the knit can virtually be seen. The air permeability has been improved further and provides even more wearing comfort. Additionally, the knit is even more stretchable, which makes donning the bandage easier. Thus, these newly improved products combine distinctive design with exceptional features of medical function and efficiency.
AchilloTrain is the perfect aid to protect and reduce strain on the Achilles tendon. The paraachillary position of the pad ensures uniform application of pressure and provides intermittent compression in motion. This improves the metabolism and edemae are reduced. The heel elevation provided by the integrated visco-elastic wedge puts the Achilles tendon under less strain.
AchilloTrain Pro, which provides athletic patients with required stability for extended strain in motion, has a friction pad which extends prominently. The inside of the pad has soft proprioceptive stimulating nodules and longitudinal grooves. Both elements ensure a constant change between compression and decompression, thereby expediting edemal drainage and healing.
Patients with complex knee conditions can expect relief from GenuTrain A3. The combination of the Train knit and a specially shaped pad with noduled friction zones generates a compression/decompression effect in motion, similar to that of the AchilloTrain. This assists the drainage of edema and the resorption of contusions, thus healing and reducing pain in the area of the medial capsular ligament.
